Each Michael Aram Moon Gate is an interpretation that, as the moon, the opening is symbolic of the cycle of life, and renewal as the full moon marks wholeness and is suggestive of new beginnings. Each Michael Aram Moon Gate undergoes a series of grinding, buffing, and polishing techniques all done by hand. Variations in the sculpture's finish are characteristic of the creation process and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
