Product Availability - Shipping Time and Billing:
   When merchandise ordered is available in stock we will ship your order within 2 business days. We will bill your card in full when your order is shipped and the only notification you will receive is the email order confirmation immediately after purchase and the UPS shipping and tracking information when shipped.
  When the items ordered are being ordered for you from the manufacturer's U.S. warehouse and are available in their stock your order will ship in 5-7 business days. Larger orders will ship directly to you from the vendor warehouse. We will inform you within 24 - 72 hours from the time of your order regarding estimates of ship date.
 If the items you order are on backorder for an extended period of time we will notify you within 24 -72 hours regarding the approximate delivery time. Should you decide to proceed with the order we may bill your card for a 25% - 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be billed on the day that we ship your order to you. We require a deposit or payment in full for custom and special orders. We will contact you regarding the required deposit. 

   Orders will be shipped via UPS ground service. Expedited shipping options are available during the checkout process and costs will be displayed. UPS Ground service will be shipping service that is provided with our “complimentary shipping” orders. All orders will be shipped to the "Ship To" address Complimentary ground shipping is only available to the 48 contiguous states and is not offered to Alaska & Hawaii. 
Requests to change a shipping address once the order has been shipped will incur a fee. 

Gift Packaging
     Most items will arrive in the boxing provided by the manufacturer or carefully packed in our store for shipment. Your purchase can be gift wrapped if requested on your order for a basic fee of $8.00. In this case, we will wrap your gift in our signature solid color wrap with grosgrain ribbon and our embossed gold FXD seal when the wrap option is requested. We will contact you regarding additional wrap fees for larger orders or if your purchase cannot be gift wrapped. Baby gifts and seasonal holiday gifts will be wrapped in appropriate papers, ribbon, and our signature seal. Your personal message will be handwritten on a Cranes gift enclosure. The gift enclosure will be placed in the gift box.

Exchanges and Return Policy
 All returns must be pre-approved and accompanied by our Return Authorization Number.

  We will accept returns or exchanges within 15 days of the date of purchase. The date of purchase is determined to be the day of actual delivery to you, not the day that you open your order. We recommend that you unpack and inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Merchandise being returned that was ordered for you will be subject to a 15% - 20% ( varies by vendor) re-stocking & return fee. If your original order qualified for “complimentary shipping” we will deduct the actual costs that were incurred by us to ship to you. We will advise you of the shipping costs at the time of your request for the Return Authorization. We will refund monies to an original purchaser only. Refunds will be issued anywhere from 7 - 10 business days.  A gift recipient will receive a store credit to be used for a future FX Dougherty purchase if the item is accepted as a return. All merchandise must be returned in good, original & unused and saleable condition with all manufacturer seals, stickers, and manufacturers box or store gift boxing. We are not responsible for the costs to return items being returned. There are no exceptions to this policy. Once an RA has been initiated it is valid for 7 days only.

Merchandise damaged in shipping
 Please notify us within 48 hrs. of receipt of order if the merchandise was damaged in shipment. Keep all packing materials and the shipping carton for possible inspection by U.P.S. Upon notification we will begin the replacement process and further instruct you. We will not be held liable in any way for damages not reported within 48 hours of delivery of merchandise.
