Christofle Les Collections Historiques Fish Shape Vase

The Christofle Historiques Fish-shaped Vase is newly reissued in patinated silver-plated metal in a solid cast, with special attention paid to details such as the eyes and fins, to give it life and character. The original Christofle Fish Shape Vase is on display at the Musee d?Orsay, in the Musee des Arts D?coratifs collection and was originally designed by Emile Reiber, who was the head of Christofle?s design and composition workshop from 1865 to 1878. The original was inspired by a Japanese bronze vase from the late Edo period (1603-1868).
