Shipping Time and Billing
Most times the merchandise you order is available in our stock we will ship your order within 2 business day. We will bill your card in full when your order is placed and the only notification you will receive is the one immediately after purchase.
If the items you order are on back order we will notify you of the aproximate delivery time. If the item ordered is going to ship within 7 days we will bill your card in full at the time you place the order and send you an email notification when it is shipped.
If the merchandise you order is backordered or special ordered we will notify you within 2 business days about approximate delivery time and bill your credit card for 50% of the order total. We will notify you again when your order has been shipped and will bill your card for the balance at the time of shipping.
All orders will be shipped via UPS ground service. If you require faster shipping times you can specify this at the time that you place your order during the checkout processs.
UPS ground service is the only shipping method that is provided with our “free shipping” items. Free shipping ground shipping is only available to the 48 contiguous states, not to Alaska & Hawaii. If you need to send a "free shipping" item via overnight please call us.
Complimentary Gift Packaging
Most items will come in the boxing provided by the manufacturer. In this case we will wrap your gift in our signature champagne colored wrap with a chocolate grosgrain ribbon and our embossed gold FXD seal. If the item does not have a product box we will provide our chocolate gift box with teal colored ribbon and embossed gold FXD seal.
Baby Gifts will be gift wrapped in the manufacturers packaging. Our signature baby wrap paper is pastel colored ABC’s and blocks print with a pastel yellow or green ribbon and our signature gold FXD seal.
Season holiday merchandise will be gift wrapped in appropriate holiday gift wrap and ribbons and our gold embossed FXD gift seal.
Your personal message will be handwritten on a white Crane's gift enclosure and placed in an envelope. The gift enclosure will be placed in the gift box.
Exchanges and Returns
We will accept returns for a full refund less shipping costs and a 15% re-stocking fee within 15 days of date of purchase. Date of purchase is determined to be the day the item shipped out to you. We will refund money to an original purchaser only. A gift recipient will receive “store credit” to be used for a future FX Dougherty purchase. The merchandise must be unused, in original new condition and returned with all manufacturers or store gift boxing. We are not responsible for the costs to return and insure items being returned. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Merchandise damaged in shipping
Please notify us within 48 hrs. of receipt of order if the merchandise was damaged in shipment. Keep all packing materials and the shipping carton. Upon notification we will further instruct you.
