The Chinese lunar calendar consists of twelve years with a different animal representing each year, and 2010 is the “Year of the Tiger.” Herend’s Tiger is hand painted in the orange chrysanthemum pattern with 24K gold highlights on his paws and nose. Individuals born during the year of the tiger are sensitive, deep thinkers and capable of great sympathy.
